Unique Structures

Know the Map Before You Explore

Jenny mod does not scatter its characters randomly. Every structure, house, and dimension zone is deliberately placed within specific biomes and world types. Understanding this layout turns exploration from a frustrating search into a purposeful journey where every step leads somewhere meaningful.

This guide covers two connected topics: a step-by-step walkthrough of Jenny and Ellie's personal houses, and a broader overview of all the structures and locations the mod places across the overworld and beyond. By the end you will know exactly where to go, what to expect inside each location, and which biomes to scan when you are searching for a specific area.

🏡
Jenny's House
Plains / Forest
The primary story hub. Contains unique dialogue, personal loot, and the starting point for most relationship arcs.
🌿
Ellie's Cottage
Flower Forest
Quieter and more hidden than Jenny's. Rewards patient exploration with exclusive dialogue not found elsewhere.
Ship
Ocean / Beach
A large sea vessel carrying crew NPCs and containers with rare loot items tied to specific story events.
🏛
Temple
Desert / Jungle
Ancient structure with puzzle elements, hidden chambers, and event-locked dialogue sequences.
🔥
Nether Zone
Nether
A dedicated dimensional area unlocked after progressing through overworld arcs. Contains the mod's deepest story content.
🌲
Forest Camp
Dark Forest
A smaller outpost where side characters gather. Low-pressure exploration with optional lore items.

Exploring Jenny's House

Jenny's house spawns in Plains or Light Forest biomes and is recognisable by its distinct roof design and surrounding fence. Approaching from the front door triggers the first greeting dialogue, so approach slowly on your first visit to avoid skipping early story beats.

1
Locate the Plains or Forest Biome
Use a locator tool or explore naturally. The house spawns within 800 blocks of world spawn in most seeds.
2
Approach the Front Door
Walk through the garden gate to trigger the introductory dialogue. Do not enter from the side window first.
3
Complete the Introduction Sequence
Read all dialogue options in the first exchange. These choices influence how Jenny responds throughout your session.
4
Search the Interior Rooms
Each room — bedroom, kitchen, living area — contains unique loot containers and hidden interactables.
5
Return on Subsequent Days
In-game time unlocks new dialogue. Visiting on different day counts reveals story arcs unavailable on a first visit.

Story Note Kitchen table Common
Custom Item Tag Hidden drawer Unique
Relationship Token Living room chest Rare

Exploring Ellie's Cottage

Ellie's cottage is smaller, more secluded, and placed in Flower Forest biomes. Its lower profile makes it easy to walk past, so look for flower arrangements and a small lantern by the path. The interior has fewer rooms than Jenny's house but denser story content per square metre.

Finding Ellie:

If you have already visited Jenny's house, check the north-east quadrant of the nearest Flower Forest. Ellie's cottage tends to generate relative to Jenny's position in the same world seed.

1
Scan Flower Forest Edges
Walk the perimeter of Flower Forests rather than plunging through the centre. The cottage sits near forest edges.
2
Knock on the Door at Daytime
Ellie's dialogue trees differ by time of day. Daytime visits unlock her friendly narrative; night visits open a separate conversation set.
3
Explore the Garden Area
The garden behind the cottage contains interactable flower beds linked to optional side missions.
4
Check the Bookshelf
A single bookshelf inside holds written books with lore entries that expand on the mod's backstory.

Ships, Temples, and the Nether Zone

Beyond the two main houses, jenny mod places several large structures across biomes and dimensions. Each one serves a narrative purpose and contains content locked behind earlier story progress, so visiting them in the right order matters.

The Ship

Ocean and beach biomes contain a large player-built ship complete with a crew. Inside you will find storage containers, crew dialogue, and event-triggered loot. The ship becomes fully accessible after completing the mid-game relationship arc with Jenny, making it a mid-to-late game destination rather than a starting point.

Desert and Jungle Temples

These structures reuse vanilla biome placements but replace their interiors with mod-specific layouts. Puzzle chambers require specific items found in earlier locations, and the dialogue inside ties directly to the Nether story arc, making temples the narrative bridge between the overworld and the Nether zone.

The Nether Zone

The Nether zone is a dedicated mod area accessible via a custom portal after unlocking it through overworld story progress. It contains the deepest story content in the mod and should be treated as end-game content . Go in prepared — the zone is visually distinct from vanilla Nether and easy to navigate once you know its layout.

Purposeful exploration:

Understanding the full structure layout transforms jenny mod from random NPC encounters into a deliberate story journey. Every location connects to the next.
